There are two main types of plastic used by us: High Impact Polystyrene, 'HIPS', and ABS.
ABS is generally tougher than HIPS, and has better chemical resistance properties.
However, for most applications the decision to use one or the other depends more on colour and finish than strength.
We can obtain UL94 V0, fire rated, black and white, coarse grain ABS off the shelf.
We can source other colours on request, depending on quantity required.
We also use acrylics, polycarbonates, including opaques.
